Songs
I’ve been playing the guitar and writing music since I was 17. On buying my first guitar, I immediately joined a local thrash metal band, which broke up soon after. I moved on to an alternative rock band while at university, played one gig, and after that band broke up put away my electric guitar. I eventually bought an acoustic and over the last few years have written a few songs I still like.
Musicianship has never been my strong point, but what I lack technically, I hope I make up for in lyricism. Besides which, I think I am sensible enough to stay within the boundaries of my skillset.
Strong influences include Smashing Pumpkins, Jeff Buckley, and Radiohead.
